Membership & Benefits
iNetwork’s vision is to enable local public service organisations individually and collectively to deliver more innovative and cost effective services to their users and communities.
It’s what we’ve been achieving for the last nine years as NWEGG – and what we’re continuing to achieve as iNetwork.
Here’s the evidence of the benefits that membership can bring.
Our Common Financial Assessment Project, working with Department of Work and Pensions, to streamline and simplify the process of assessing citizens’ entitlement to benefits has been included in the Welfare Reform Bill. It’s the solution to a long-standing data access problem and should save councils in England around £75M. It is also been used to provide DWP data to councils on Troubled Families.
Our Business Improvement Techniques and Lean training programmes have provided more than 1000 members with business improvement techniques training and support since 2008. It’s saved member organisations around £5M.
We’ve worked with the Strategic Health Authority to improve information sharing between maternity services and children’s centres across the North West which will a real impact on improving the life chances of children in some of the region’s most deprived places.
We’re also working with the NHS on information sharing, with the Department of Work and Pensions on Tell us Once, with the Department for Education on complex families and with the Department for Transport on the new Blue Badge system.
